Haven't we all learned that "that band sucks" means "in my opinion that band sucks".

    Why argue about it?

I happen to like a lot of earlier Motley Crue. I didn't go to the arena show here b/c I wasn't paying that kind of money to have Vince assault my ears. But the next show here is OUTSIDE and that I may go to b/c I can move further away from the sound if need be.

As for Bryan Adams - he's ok to listen to on the radio but live? Maybe he puts on a good show. I wouldn't know.

<font size="4" face="Arial">no, it was actually something they did 18 years ago and haven't stopped doing it since, they released a shitty album. in 87 it was girls girls girls, 89 was dr feelgood, then balh blah blah they just keep pushing out the crap and that about sealed it for me. but you know what, maybe if they released another greatest hits collection it might draw me in. i know, i know, you are saying if the previous 5 or so greatest hits collections/box sets didn't drag me back in what would make another one any different. it wouldn't, i'm just foolin with ya. LONG LIVE THE CRUE!!!!!!! now give me another box set so i can have looks that kill on 9 different discs.

I think Motley rocks the new album when it comes out will be good.

They have influenced a ton of other bands and their legacy will live on.

<font size="4" face="Arial">now see, you are blindly following them because of their past. you haven't heard the new album how can you possibly say it is going to be good? if you pass judgment before hearing it then what can you be basing your opinion on. you don't know what they are writing, how they are arranging it, hell for all you know they could be planning on releasing an album with nothing but kazoos on it. how can you seriously just say something that is only in it's infancy stage is either going to be good or bad. it's nothing yet.

NIN rocks my world but there is no way i am going to say their new album is going to kick ass just because it's NIN. I've even heard the new single but until i get the album in my grimy little paws and listen to it a few times, i'm not going to try to pass judgment one way or another. it wouldn?t be fair, or honest.

i love hanoi rocks more then any band, besides maybe the rolling stones, and i can honestly say that their latest release is weak at best.

now I?m not bashing you, motley crue, or their next release. they might come out with an album on par with too fast for love and knock me on my ass. all I?m saying is unless they are blood relative, sleeping next to you with a wedding ring on, or your life long soul partner, never blindly follow anyone. you owe that much to yourself.

I saw a commercial for the new album and I heard Vince's voice and thought - this is not his voice. It was so F'd with it's not funny.

And the bad thing is I just read some blurb that he was commenting on Ashlee Simpson "lip synching".

    What a hypocrite! Big surprise.

To tell you the truth Vince had taken Vocal lessons before that song was recorded along with his makeover so yea it is probably his voice how it sounds when he sings right.

Also if you've seen Crue live or watched that show they were on you'd know they don't lip synch.

It was Nikki that got caught lip synching backing vocals on a TV show, pretty lame, but not a major deal, its only the backing vox.

'The Fragile' was infrequently disappointing. It's
    no surprise Trent is musically/psychologically
publically disassociating himself from it. The
fact it's taken Trent 5 years (or whatever it is)
to find himself 'in a place' where his ready to
record again isn't celebratory at all, but moreover,
quite sad. Most productive musos could have re-
corded 10/12 CDs in 5 years.

Then again, it isn't '5 years' of course. Trent
did the 'Deep' in the interim, which is actually
    quite awesome.

'The Fragile' wasn't that bad, my fav NIN album will always be 'Pretty Hate Machine' though.
